Death Doula | Deaducator | Public Speaker | Bringing Death Conversations to Life
If you had asked me at ten years old what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would have confidently said, “a mortician!” That curiosity never really left - it just evolved. After discovering the work of death doulas (thanks to hearing Alua Arthur speak), everything clicked. I knew this was the work I was meant to do.
I’m a certified death doula trained through Going With Grace, a funeral experience designer, and a proud deaducator and public speaker—which means I talk about death… a lot, and somehow make it feel approachable, empowering, and even a little fun. I help individuals, families, and communities navigate end-of-life with more intention, honesty, and personalization - from planning ahead to creating meaningful, sometimes unconventional funeral experiences.
I’m also the co-founder of Deaducation Academy and Death Collective North Texas (DCNTX), where we’re on a mission to normalize conversations around death and make them something people actually want to show up for.
As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I’m especially passionate about supporting queer folks, polycules, and nontraditional families in making sure their people, their love, and their wishes are honored, fully and without compromise.
I’m a mom to three girls, serve on the Board of Directors at Union Coffee, and host monthly Death Cafés in the DFW area, because I truly believe talking about death can bring us more fully into life.
Through education, design, and care, I’m here to help you approach death with clarity, intention, and maybe even a little curiosity.
